{"id":19645,"date":"2024-04-15T13:53:15","date_gmt":"2024-04-15T11:53:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultant.wpenginepowered.com\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/materials-and-corrosion-engineer-3003393\/"},"modified":"2024-04-15T13:53:15","modified_gmt":"2024-04-15T11:53:15","slug":"materials-and-corrosion-engineer-3003393","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/materials-and-corrosion-engineer-3003393\/","title":{"rendered":"Materials and Corrosion Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Materials and Corrosion Engineer<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<p>On behalf of our client, an oil&amp;gas operator, we are currently looking for a Subsea Materials Engineer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Subsea Material Engineer, covering SPS &amp; SURF scope of work<\/li>\n<li>The role is part of the technical Company team reporting to the Engineering Manager<\/li>\n<li>The role is responsible for follow-up of the material selection process<\/li>\n<li>Ensure lessons learned and operational experience are implemented in the design<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical advice about the suitability of specified and alternative designs, solutions and materials<\/li>\n<li>Review relevant materials and fabrication documentation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance in fabrication to Company&#039;s own requirements, regulatory requirements and project specifications and relevant industry and international standards<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to project risk assessment reviews and evaluation on the Company&#039;s involvement strategy<\/li>\n<li>Assist on ITP reviews, give input on technical requirements and attendance level for Company<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to fulfillment of the &#039;&#039;see to it&#039;&#039; duty as responsible Company Quality Control\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Perform required ITP activities, coordinate with Quality Lead<\/li>\n<li>Advise on relevant TQ&#039;s, NCR&#039;s and CR&#039;s.
