{"id":21237,"date":"2024-07-13T23:41:09","date_gmt":"2024-07-13T21:41:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/construction-lead-3003621\/"},"modified":"2024-07-13T23:41:09","modified_gmt":"2024-07-13T21:41:09","slug":"construction-lead-3003621","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/construction-lead-3003621\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction Lead"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Construction Lead<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<h3><strong>Description:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the multidiscipline construction work included Mechanical Completion is done according to the job cards and MC manuals<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for all activities\/job cards are documented as built, progress status reported complete, welding, MC tests recorded in Material\/Fabrication follow-up system in accordance with PEM, procedures and work instructions<\/li>\n<li>To follow up the construction and construction activities with the subcontractor<\/li>\n<li>To establish and maintain a professional relationship with the subcontractor.<\/li>\n<li>To have the responsibility for following up construction of the contract object and that activities are executed with the agreed quality and in time with an acceptable HSE performance.<\/li>\n<li>Stop all unsafe conditions and report HSE incidents when required.<\/li>\n<li>Based on performance and challenges, evaluate the site team and propose changes when required.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that mandatory regulations, procedures, documentation and agreed actions are followed and documented. Furthermore, that this is reported to the Site team.<\/li>\n<li>Provide input to KPI reports.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the subcontractor&#039;s status, possible challenges and required actions are communicated to relevant project personnel on a proactive basis allowing insight and proper actions to be taken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications and personal qualities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 15 years&#039; experience from multidiscipline projects within E&amp;P<\/li>\n<li>Good technical and multidiscipline overview<\/li>\n<li>Fluent abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written<\/li>\n<li>Open to new learning and applying digital solutions<\/li>\n<li>Have good interpersonal communication and influencing skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player with a &quot;One Team&quot; behaviour, proactively seeking advice and sharing knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter with a strong delivery focus<\/li>\n<li>Structured and systematic<\/li>\n<li>Have the drive to deliver on an &quot;always improving&quot; mindset, including new working methods and digital tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Health Safety &amp; Environment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate HSSE&amp;Q Leadership by emphasizing personal commitment to HSSE&amp;Q and by promoting Company&#039;s HSSE&amp;Q principles, HSSE&amp;Q Mindset and Life-Saving Rules<\/li>\n<li>Focus on and contribute to a quality mind set within the Site Construction Organisation<\/li>\n<li>Secure that health, safety, and work environment aspects are thoroughly considered, planned, implemented and followed up for the project activities and in accordance with corporate and project HSE requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Actively contribute to establish and maintain a positive working environment for the site team according to corporate and project requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Main Tasks<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and maintain relations to the subcontractor on a long-term basis.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and perform monitoring and documentation of the subcontractor&#039;s activities to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations.<\/li>\n<li>Together with the Site Team Identify and implement necessary corrective actions towards the subcontractor.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange daily\/weekly meetings with subcontractors&#039; construction team<\/li>\n<li>Participate in weekly and monthly meetings with the subcontractor&#039;s Project Management.<\/li>\n<li>Perform regular reporting to the Site Team on status and corrective actions if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Establish good communication and clear roles and responsibilities between the site team and other disciplines in the project. Special attention on deliveries from the Project Organization to secure the subcontractor&#039;s success.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to establish and use the risk register actively.<\/li>\n<li>Use the risk register actively.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and implement additional HSE requirements if required.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the subcontractor&#039;s HSE performance and propose corrective actions if required.
