{"id":21280,"date":"2024-11-11T23:19:35","date_gmt":"2024-11-11T22:19:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-telecom-engineer-3003704\/"},"modified":"2024-11-11T23:19:35","modified_gmt":"2024-11-11T22:19:35","slug":"senior-telecom-engineer-3003704","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-telecom-engineer-3003704\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Telecom Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Senior Telecom Engineer<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Performing study work and estimation.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Produce new documentation and drawings such as telecom block diagrams, loop diagrams and plot plans.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Revise existing documentation and drawings.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Produce work package for installation.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Order all telecom materials (bulk\/equipment) needed for offshore installation.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge of general interfaces to instrumentation\/electrical\/automation.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Need to understand drawings from different disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Discussions with Client and vendor representatives in order to find optimal technical solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Required Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Masters or bachelor degree in telecommunications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Work Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Experience, 5 to 7 years, within offshore related projects and studies.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge of relevant standards such as NPD, ATEX, IEC61892 and Norsok<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge of modifications on onshore installations when in operation<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge of telecommunication systems as cables, fibres, LAN, WAN, TMS, etc.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge of PA systems, emergency battery systems, and CCTV systems.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge of ICT security and network topology.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge of instruments and electrical equipment used in the oil industry.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Must have valid Norwegian offshore and health certificates.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge in systems for performing Engineering work as STIDtag, STIDdoc and STIDloop.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge in use of systems such as proark and PIMS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certificates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic EX course \u2013 22.5 hours in the classroom or 8 hours online<\/li>\n<li>FSE high and low voltage with first aid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Does this sound like something for you?
