{"id":21303,"date":"2024-09-19T23:30:16","date_gmt":"2024-09-19T21:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-project-cost-engineer-3003713\/"},"modified":"2024-09-19T23:30:16","modified_gmt":"2024-09-19T21:30:16","slug":"senior-project-cost-engineer-3003713","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-project-cost-engineer-3003713\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Project Cost Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Senior Project Cost Engineer<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Location can be Stavanger or Oslo.<\/li>\n<li>Duration: 01.10.2024 \u2013 30.06.2027<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tasks<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Oversee internal and external project cost status reporting.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ensure accurate and consistent cost tracking.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Manage accruals, forecasts, cash flow inputs, invoice handling, and preparation of requisitions.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Deliver variance explanations to the Finance department.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Develop and maintain the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Handle project changes with cost impact (management of Change).<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Identify, analyze, and track cost changes versus sanctioned budgets.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Develop and manage contingency drawdown plans.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Prepare and follow-up on Manpower Projection Plans and man-hour cost estimates.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Correlate cost data with other project data (schedules, manpower, productivity, etc.), investigate variances, prepare analysis, highlight inconsistencies, and propose mitigating actions.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Provide general Project Management support.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Utilize tools such as SAP, EcoSys, PowerBI, and Pims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Proven experience in cost engineering.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Does this sound like something for you?
