(Tasks may vary between positions.)<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in SAS engineering across FEED and EPCI projects, focusing on the design and integration of safety and automation systems.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain system design documentation, including system philosophies, specifications, and alarm specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Specify, dimension, and integrate process control and monitoring systems, fire &amp; gas detection systems, protection\/shutdown systems (ESD and PSD), and field devices.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support during the procurement process for discipline or multidiscipline packages, ensuring specifications and standards are met.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on vendor documentation and verification of software and hardware deliverables, participating in test activities such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).<\/li>\n<li>Perform detailed analysis and calculations in compliance with IEC 61508\/61511 standards.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in safety reviews, ensuring that all systems are compliant with industry standards and client requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective communication and interface management between various disciplines, suppliers, and the client.<\/li>\n<li>Review and verify SAS documentation, ensuring the accuracy and quality of all produced deliverables, such as SCDs, C&amp;E diagrams, ESD\/PSD Block logic, and HMI documents.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of tasks within the discipline and project scope.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Ideally, you have some of the below qualifications. (Required qualifications will vary depending on position.)<\/p>\n<h3>Desired Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#039;s or Master&#039;s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years&#039; of experience as an SAS engineer, with experience in Norwegian oil and gas projects.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in specifying, dimensioning, and integrating safety and automation systems within complex industrial settings.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, including NORSOK, IEC 61508\/61511.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with engineering tools such as TIME, Visio, and SAP is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English is required, fluent Norwegian is advantageous (Not all positions require fluent Norwegian).\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Some positions may require a valid offshore certificate.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>Candidates must be eligible for work in Norway.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a consultant with us, you will receive competitive compensation and benefits, as well as regular follow-up throughout your assignment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Interested?\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>If you are a SAS Engineer looking for the next challenge, then we look forward to hearing from you!
