{"id":21396,"date":"2024-11-27T10:12:17","date_gmt":"2024-11-27T09:12:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-buyer-3003859\/"},"modified":"2024-11-27T10:12:17","modified_gmt":"2024-11-27T09:12:17","slug":"senior-buyer-3003859","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-buyer-3003859\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Buyer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Senior Buyer<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Title<\/strong>: Senior Buyer<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location<\/strong>: Bergen<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duration<\/strong>: 1 year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Introduction<\/h3>\n<p>On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Buyer to assist in a field development project.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Tasks &amp; responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Create procurement strategies<\/li>\n<li>Issue inquiry documents for larger equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering<\/li>\n<li>Commercial evaluation of quotations<\/li>\n<li>Issue orders and contracts of complex procurement packages<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up suppliers to secure delivery within the right timeframe, cost, and quality<\/li>\n<li>Professional variation action<\/li>\n<li>Handling of risks, deviations and invoices<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all work is executed in accordance with company guidelines, work instructions and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Be the single point of contact for commercial discussions with suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Continuous improvement activities to reduce internal and external risks, costs and to improve delivery quality and cooperations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Required qualifications and experience&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#039;s or master&#039;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economy, Engineering and similar<\/li>\n<li>Experience from procurement in the Norwegian oil and gas sector is required, here at least 5 years.<\/li>\n<li>A Commercial mindset &amp; Contract understanding<\/li>\n<li>Fluent Norwegian and English is a requirement.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Flexible and positive with good collaboration skills.<\/li>\n<li>Structured and systematic approach. You thrive in hectic environments and are able to juggle multiple priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office and SAP ERP experience is a plus<\/li>\n<li><strong>Candidates must be eligible for work in Norway. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This is a 1-year contract, and our client would like the right candidate to start ASAP.
