{"id":21422,"date":"2025-05-30T23:11:50","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T21:11:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-electrical-engineer-3003887\/"},"modified":"2025-05-30T23:11:50","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T21:11:50","slug":"senior-electrical-engineer-3003887","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-electrical-engineer-3003887\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Electrical Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Senior Electrical Engineer<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<ul>\n<li>Title: Senior Electrical Engineer &#8211; Heat Trace<\/li>\n<li>Location: Oslo<\/li>\n<li>Duration: ASAP &#8211; 01.03.2027<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>We are looking for a skilled heat trace engineer to work in a large EPC project.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The right candidate will join a major green field\/brown field project and will have the opportunity to develop his\/her skills with respect to electrical heat trace design.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tasks &amp; responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Calculation, selection and follow up of heat trace cable design<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up and design heat trace requirement according to P&amp;ID\u2019s and project solutions<\/li>\n<li>Input, update and maintain heat trace engineering register information<\/li>\n<li>Generation of heat trace ISO\u2019s from Aveva E3D<\/li>\n<li>Topping up heat trace MTO\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Participate in meetings between fabrication and engineering\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Interface with other disciplines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Required qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree or Technical College combined with minimum 12 years\u2019 relevant experience with onshore and offshore facilities. Additional 5 years&#8217; experience with electrical heat trace design in onshore and offshore projects is required.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ex course (to be renewed every 5 years) If candidate has no EX-certificate, then the course must be taken as soon as possible after starting work at Aibel.<\/li>\n<li>FSE course.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Experience and deep knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English is required, both orally and in writing.<\/li>\n<li>Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently as well as in team\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Candidates must be eligible for work in Norway. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a 2-year contract, and our client would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Interested?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If this sounds like your next assignment, then we look forward to receiving your CV.
