You will be part of the Project Control &amp; Analysis competence center within Project Development, delivering project control services across our global project portfolio. Our current project portfolio is a mix of greenfield developments, high value offshore modification and subsea developments, electrification and power from shore projects, and emerging opportunities within hydrogen and carbon capture and storage projects. Project control is a key project integrator in all projects. Our competence adds value at all levels in a project \u2013 from total business case to contract establishment and follow-up at various engineering and construction sites.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><em>Work in an experienced team of quantity surveyors in several projects to support development projects. You will work in a multidisciplinary project team with interfaces with engineering, procurement, project control etc. <\/em><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><em>Typical tasks will be: <\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Execute work related to establishing quantities of projects facilities and scope of work according to Equinor&#039;s requirements in close cooperation with technical disciplines, project control, planners and contract coordinators. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Ensure the latest Equinor documents and templates have been incorporated into the Contract <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Check and populate compensation items with representative quantities covering the full scope of work. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Evaluate the Contractor Tender responses <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Plan, perform and follow-up reviews of contractor&#039;s processes, systems and plans for quantity measurement and forecasting <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Check and verify the Contractor&#039;s quantity measurements and use of Compensation codes to ensure a timely and correct final settlement. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Detail review of Contractor&#039;s quantity forecast for the total scope, estimated man-hours, bulk material unit cost and costs for Variation Orders <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Contribute to forecast for Baseline updates. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Participate in evaluation of Variation Orders, Project Change Proposals etc. when required. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Collaborate with the Weight Control function and ensure there is a correlation between published weight forecasts and quantity forecasts.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Propose improvements to procedures, practices and systems within discipline.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Conduct cost and progress control, including forecasting and analysis for the contract.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><em>Requested experience:<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><em> Minimum 5 years experience within Quantity Measurement or Weight Control preferably with several project types (Onshore, Offshore, Greenfield and Brownfield) <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Technical, commercial, or analytical background with multidisciplinary understanding is beneficial ie, Mechanical, piping and layout, structure. <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Good communication skills, collaborative, structured, systematic, and analytical.
