{"id":21513,"date":"2025-01-31T23:12:12","date_gmt":"2025-01-31T22:12:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/innkjoper-3003946\/"},"modified":"2025-01-31T23:12:12","modified_gmt":"2025-01-31T22:12:12","slug":"innkjoper-3003946","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/innkjoper-3003946\/","title":{"rendered":"Buyer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Buyer<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<h3><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Our client, an operator in the oil and gas industry, expects high demand for supply chain management specialists in early 2025.<\/p>\n<p>We are therefore looking for buyers, contract managers, purchasing specialists and others with experience from the oil and gas industry who want to develop their career with a large operator.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Specific tasks will vary depending on the position, but here are examples of what you can expect:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Areas of responsibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement purchasing strategies that are tailored to the business&#039;s needs and category strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Lead solicitation processes, including strategic development, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, manage and operationalize contracts, including framework agreements, project-related contracts and call-offs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure contractual compliance, monitor risk and implement risk-based follow-up plans to support strategic objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct needs and market analyses in both global and local markets.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management and communication.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the entire contract lifecycle from award to closure, with a focus on minimizing value leakage, ensuring compliance, and promoting security.<\/li>\n<li>Drive and implement improvement processes to increase efficiency in purchasing.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Desired qualifications and experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant Bachelor&#039;s or Master&#039;s degree; extensive relevant experience may compensate for formal educational requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, contract management or project procurement, preferably in energy, oil or gas.<\/li>\n<li>Strong skills in negotiation, interpersonal relations and stakeholder management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with purchasing tools such as Contiki and\/or SAP is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated high personal integrity, ethical awareness and commercial mindset.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent oral and written communication in Norwegian and English.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible and adaptable, able to work independently and lead multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Desired additional skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic thinking and ability to manage complex purchasing portfolios.<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in developing and leveraging networks across internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with compliance in areas such as integrity assessments, human rights assessments and security.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive approach to risk management and process improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p>These are long-term assignments based in Stavanger or Bergen.
