{"id":21522,"date":"2025-01-16T23:15:01","date_gmt":"2025-01-16T22:15:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/field-engineer-surface-and-insulation-3003992\/"},"modified":"2025-01-16T23:15:01","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T22:15:01","slug":"field-engineer-surface-and-insulation-3003992","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/field-engineer-surface-and-insulation-3003992\/","title":{"rendered":"Field Engineer Surface and Insulation"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Field Engineer Surface and Insulation<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<p><strong>Rotation : <\/strong>15 days on \u2013 20 off<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contract Period: <\/strong>16.02.2025-25.02.2027<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Milk Island<\/p>\n<h3><strong> Tasks and responsibilities<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Field engineer shall ensure that the activities and scope for construction within insulation for architect, piping and equipment is planned, qualified, performed and documented in accordance with the contract specifications and with a high focus on cost efficient construction.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The Field engineer is reporting in the Construction and shall collaborate with the Project Material Lead Engineer who is accountable for decisions within the discipline (ia NCRs, TQs, design issues).\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of Contractors fabrication activities within surface treatment and insulation for architect, piping and equipment with emphasis on quality, schedule, cost efficiency and HSE.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Monitor work progress against plans and schedules and highlight areas of concern and possible corrective actions\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Participate in engineering and construction reviews to secure feasible and cost-efficient end-result in construction\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the Contractor&#039;s site personnel are qualified in accordance with project requirements.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Supervise inspectors in site team if applicable.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Plan\/Participate in audits \/ verifications as required.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all required procedure qualifications are performed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Review selected drawings and documents issued by Contractor Provide inputs to decisions within the discipline (ie NCRs, TQs, design issues)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that systems and equipment are protected and preserved\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that fabrication documentation is issued by Contractor in accordance with requirements.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all required fabrication records are prepared. Report deviations and highlight problem areas to Construction lead\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensure completion for handover to commissioning.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Participate in area \/ system punch out as required and monitor status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Competence Requirements <\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of NORSOK R-004 insulation experience from projects in the construction phase.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>10+ Years&#039; experience as NORSOK insulation work.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Frosio level 3 for both surface and insulation\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Construction and hook-up experience are preferable\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Experience from architectural and HVAC insulation work from the construction phase of similar projects.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle high work loads.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Does this sound like something for you?
