{"id":21523,"date":"2025-01-31T23:12:28","date_gmt":"2025-01-31T22:12:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-mechanical-engineer-3003991\/"},"modified":"2025-01-31T23:12:28","modified_gmt":"2025-01-31T22:12:28","slug":"senior-mechanical-engineer-3003991","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-mechanical-engineer-3003991\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Mechanical Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Senior Mechanical Engineer<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<p><em>The main purpose of your role is to be the specialist for static mechanical equipment at the location and to support and plan work to provide safe, in-control and efficient maintenance in addition to initiate engineering support work. <\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Typical tasks will be: <\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with relevant authority and company requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure safe and stable operation of static mechanical equipment, including specification for procurement, maintenance, testing and improvements<\/li>\n<li>Contribute with technical expertise for projects and modifications<\/li>\n<li>Risk assessments related to static mechanical equipment<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality of internal and external deliveries<\/li>\n<li>Ensure field-specific specifications and technical documentation are kept up to date within discipline<\/li>\n<li>Establish and drive change processes (PIMS)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Follow up assigned actions in Synergy<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for Performance Standard for Asset (Barrier Management)<\/li>\n<li>Participation and witnessing FATs when needed<\/li>\n<li>Follow up and contribute to assigned actions in the Engineering Query and MoC process.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the Mechanical Professional Network and contribute to best practice<\/li>\n<li>Carry out offshore visits when needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications: <\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s or Bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, operation, maintenance and modifications.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of national and international design codes and standards (NORSOK, ASME, API, EN).<\/li>\n<li>Offshore installation experience\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in multidiscipline teams and handling interfaces\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated flexibility to take on new challenges<\/li>\n<li>Fluent Norwegian and English proficiency<\/li>\n<li>n\u00f8dvending med gode\/flytende norskkunnskaper i rollen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location: Stavanger<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Does this sound like something for you?
