{"id":21624,"date":"2025-03-17T23:19:26","date_gmt":"2025-03-17T22:19:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-electrical-engineer-3004091\/"},"modified":"2025-03-17T23:19:26","modified_gmt":"2025-03-17T22:19:26","slug":"senior-electrical-engineer-3004091","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-electrical-engineer-3004091\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Electrical Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Senior Electrical Engineer<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<h3><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support future projects.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tasks &amp; responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Your tasks will include, but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and specify solutions for electrical systems and equipment in FEED and EPC oil and gas Projects.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, modify, and review Electrical Design Criteria, and Electrical System philosophy documents like heat tracing philosophy, earthing and bonding philosophy, power distribution and control philosophy, normal and emergency lighting design philosophy, startup\/shutdown philosophy etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, modify, and review electrical drawings like single line drawings, Block drawings, Layout drawings, and schedule like electrical load list, electrical cable schedule, electrical MTO list etc.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare technical specifications, data sheets and tender documentation of Electrical Equipment&#039;s including but not limited to UPS, SWBD&#039;s\/DB&#039;s, Distribution XTRF&#039;s, Electrical Motor&#039;s, and packaged equipment.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Design and Sizing of electrical systems and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordination with suppliers and review of documents and drawings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>&nbsp;<strong>Required qualifications and experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor or Master of degree in electrical power engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years&#039; relevant experience, especially in FEED, study projects of Top-side modifications for Offshore oil and gas platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Project experience from electrical package follow up and area design.<\/li>\n<li>Experience within electrical system and equipment design at LV &amp; MV distribution level.<\/li>\n<li>Experience from Brownfield oil and gas projects of Top-side modifications.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in using the electrical calculation tools like Febdok, TraceCalc, DiaLux.<\/li>\n<li>Multi-disciplinary Engineering understanding of FEED\/EPC offshore oil and gas projects.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of rules\/regulations, standards of NORSOK E-001, IEC 61892, IECx 60079.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent English is required, fluent Norwegian is advantageous.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Must have valid FSE and Ex courses.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle high workloads.<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must hold a valid Offshore certificate for required offshore surveys.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be eligible for work in Norway.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This is a contract lasting until the end of 2025, and our client would like the right candidate to start ASAP.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Interested?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If this sounds like something for you, then we look forward to receiving your CV.
