{"id":21999,"date":"2026-01-19T23:18:54","date_gmt":"2026-01-19T22:18:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/project-completion-engineer-3004437\/"},"modified":"2026-01-19T23:18:54","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T22:18:54","slug":"project-completion-engineer-3004437","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/project-completion-engineer-3004437\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Completion Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Project Completion Engineer<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<h3><strong>Main tasks:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>System Responsible Engineer for HV Systems, Heat trace Systems, LV Systems, UPS Systems and SAS interface.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.<\/li>\n<li>Provide engineering input.<\/li>\n<li>Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and call off ATS as and when required.<\/li>\n<li>Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services<\/li>\n<li>Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and ensure first fills are available in a timely fashion and perform first fills.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve the Company&#039;s expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on the Commissioning plan.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>This position is fully mobile with base location onshore site Stord. Offshore is also required for this position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education \/ experience.<\/li>\n<li>BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education \/ experience.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).<\/li>\n<li>Experience from NORSOK projects.<\/li>\n<li>System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding (HV, LV DB and UPS).<\/li>\n<li>Track record of delivery in the Oil &amp; Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Project Completion Systems and document management systems.
