{"id":22382,"date":"2026-01-19T23:19:12","date_gmt":"2026-01-19T22:19:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/sub-contract-manager-3004502\/"},"modified":"2026-01-19T23:19:12","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T22:19:12","slug":"sub-contract-manager-3004502","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/sub-contract-manager-3004502\/","title":{"rendered":"Sub-Contract Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Sub-Contract Manager<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<p>We are currently looking for a Sub-Contract Manager consultant with broad sub-contract management experience in international projects.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Tasks and responsibilities:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting to the Business Manager in the project and VP of Operations and Project Management in the Offshore Wind Team.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively manage relationships with international sub-contractors to ensure their alignment with project requirements, fostering clear communication and collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and address potential risks associated with sub-contractors, implementing proactive measures to minimize disruptions and ensure a smooth project execution.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain processes to ensure the predictability of sub-contractor deliveries, closely monitoring progress and addressing any deviations from the project plan.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that sub-contractors adhere to contractual obligations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, conducting audits if relevant, and reviews to maintain high performance levels.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously track and report on sub-contractor performance, providing insights and updates to project stakeholders to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of subcontract amendments and variations (VO\/VOR).<\/li>\n<li>Conduct subcontract awareness sessions and training for project teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#039;s degree in business administration, or Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent degree in legal education, such as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or a Juris Doctor (JD)<\/li>\n<li>+10 years of proven sub-contract management results for international projects.<\/li>\n<li>Offshore or construction experience is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience with FIDIC contracts, English common law, or civil law jurisdictions.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, analytical and technical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in leading people through change and anchoring sub-contract ownership with stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with translating international sub-contract types to multiple stakeholders with visible outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Contract period: 05.01.2026 (as soon as possible)-05.01.2027<\/p>\n<p>Work location: Haugesund, Asker, Stavanger or Bergen<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Please contact Grethe Borg, 905 21 929, grethe.borg@vegaconsultants.no for more information about the role.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class='vega-button'><span><a href='https:\/\/secure.webtemp.no\/WebtempCVPortal\/startsession.aspx?page=stillingsingle&amp;k=169&amp;id_utleie=3004502'>More info\/search here<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<h4>REFNR<\/h4>\n<p>403352<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>POSITION TYPE<\/h4>\n<p>Full-time<br \/>Temporary position\/engagement<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>APPLICATION DEADLINE<\/h4>\n<p>19.01.2026<\/p><\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-consultant'>\n<h4>CONTACT PERSON(S)<\/h4>\n<div>Grethe Borg<\/div>\n<div>90 52 19 29<\/div>\n<div>grethe.borg@vegaconsultants.no<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vega Consultants AS Sub-Contract Manager We are currently looking for a Sub-Contract Manager consultant with broad sub-contract management experience in international projects.
