{"id":22444,"date":"2026-02-23T23:13:12","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T22:13:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/estimator-3004570\/"},"modified":"2026-02-23T23:13:12","modified_gmt":"2026-02-23T22:13:12","slug":"estimator-3004570","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/estimator-3004570\/","title":{"rendered":"Estimator"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Estimator<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<h3><strong>Work Tasks<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Support preparation of cost estimates, cost data structures, benchmarking inputs, basis of estimate and reporting material.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to cost analysis, trending, quantity development, or cost control activities depending on background.<\/li>\n<li>Review cost-related inputs delivered by contractors, internal business units, or alliance partners.<\/li>\n<li>Support multidisciplinary project teams and contribute to robust, data-driven cost deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Drive digitalisation initiatives related to cost workflows, models, and data handling.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and improve Excel based models, including advanced formulas, structured data, and workflow optimization.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in close-out activities and support strengthening of the clients&#039; internal cost and experience databases.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to the client&#039;s processes, procedures, and digital strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#039;s or Master&#039;s degree in Engineering, Finance or another relevant discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Experience from cost estimation or cost control in oil and gas projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, structured modelling, and data handling.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with digital tools, automation, workflow optimisation, or data modeling is highly beneficial.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with cost analysis is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills in English. Norwegian is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated interest in digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and modern ways of working.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Personal Characteristics<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong and effective communication skills.
