{"id":22449,"date":"2026-02-23T23:13:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T22:13:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/instrument-field-engineer-3004581\/"},"modified":"2026-02-23T23:13:16","modified_gmt":"2026-02-23T22:13:16","slug":"instrument-field-engineer-3004581","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/instrument-field-engineer-3004581\/","title":{"rendered":"Instrument Field Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Instrument Field Engineer <\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<p>For this position, we are looking for an instrument field engineer who will participate in and follow up construction work at an LNG plant.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Roles and responsibilities&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow up the instrument discipline deliverables in the project&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Follow up design in accordance with relevant rules, regulations and requirements&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Align design with discipline ladder and leading advisors&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Implement operational requirements and experience in design.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Follow up and coordinate discipline integration with other disciplines.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Follow up discipline requirements and interfaces in procurement packages.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Look for opportunities&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Tasks and deliveries&nbsp;<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow-up contractor&#039;s discipline deliverables&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparations, verification and follow-up of procurement packages&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Technical clarifications within the discipline&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to no change philosophy, and to effective handling of required changes&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Identify and contribute to closing of technical uncertainties (RISK)&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Establish good working relations with contractor&#039;s discipline&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to an effective and adequate Construction Team organization.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Assist Construction Lead in daily tasks.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to seamless transfer from Construction phase to HUC phase.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Assist and guide contractors on a daily basis.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Punch out of work and use Procosys for MC&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that change requests in Construction Scope of Work are handled according to approved routines.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure ATS rental equipment is used in a cost-efficient manner.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the contractor complies with preservation routines as per requirements and special in the main skill for this position.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute that the process for transfer of responsibility between Construction and Commissioning (Ready for Commissioning) is executed according to ARIS.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Construction organization develops and complies with necessary work processes and site instructions for an effective and safe execution of the work.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Master or Bachelor of Science within Instrument and Automation engineering.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 7-10 years&#039; relevant experience.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Project experience from instrumentation design and construction.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Multi-discipline understanding.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of rules\/regulations, standards and preferably the Company&#039;s technical requirements&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work and collaborate in a team.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>High ethical standards and adherence to the Company&#039;s ethical requirements&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle high workload.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Contract period: 01.02.2026-30.12.2028<\/p>\n<p>Work location: Hammerfest, 2\/3 rotation<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Please contact Kjersti Jonker, +47 97704446, kjersti.jonker@vegaconsultants.no, for more information about this role.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class='vega-button'><span><a href='https:\/\/secure.webtemp.no\/WebtempCVPortal\/startsession.aspx?page=stillingsingle&amp;k=169&amp;id_utleie=3004581'>More info\/search here<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<h4>REFNR<\/h4>\n<p>403427<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>POSITION TYPE<\/h4>\n<p>Full-time<br \/>Temporary position\/engagement<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>APPLICATION DEADLINE<\/h4>\n<p>23.02.2026<\/p><\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-consultant'>\n<h4>CONTACT PERSON(S)<\/h4>\n<div>Kjersti Jonker<\/div>\n<div>97 70 44 46<\/div>\n<div>kjersti.jonker@vegaconsultants.no<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vega Consultants AS Instrument Field Engineer For this position, we are looking for an instrument field engineer who will participate in and follow up construction work at an LNG plant.
