{"id":22505,"date":"2026-02-08T23:14:32","date_gmt":"2026-02-08T22:14:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/project-completion-engineer-area-completion-3004611\/"},"modified":"2026-02-08T23:14:32","modified_gmt":"2026-02-08T22:14:32","slug":"project-completion-engineer-area-completion-3004611","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/project-completion-engineer-area-completion-3004611\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Completion Engineer \u2013 Area Completion"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Project Completion Engineer \u2013 Area Completion<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<p>We are currently looking for a Project Completion Engineer \u2013 Area Completion consultant with experience from NORSOK projects.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Tasks and responsibilities:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>System responsible for ensuring planning, preparation and follow-up of area completion activities in a safe, efficient and timely manner according to Project Completion Strategy and commissioning plans and ensure they meet all project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of area completion activities.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.<\/li>\n<li>Provide engineering input<\/li>\n<li>Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and call off ATS as and when required.<\/li>\n<li>Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services<\/li>\n<li>Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and ensure first fills are available in a timely fashion and perform first fills.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve client&#039;s expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on the Commissioning plan.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education \/ experience.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience from NORSOK projects.<\/li>\n<li>System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding.<\/li>\n<li>Track record of delivery in the Oil &amp; Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Project Completion Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers &amp; technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimal direction.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills and the ability to work well within a team<\/li>\n<li>Actively seeks out expertise and best practice, related to own area of contribution.<\/li>\n<li>Anticipates future situations and plans ahead to meet them.<\/li>\n<li>Bias for action \u2013 does things before being asked to or forced to by events.<\/li>\n<li>Willingly takes the lead when challenges arise.<\/li>\n<li>Actively promotes open and effective communication.<\/li>\n<li>Strong planning and organizing ability.<\/li>\n<li>Actively promotes a positive team environment, demonstrating shared commitment to the success of the team and the wider project organization.<\/li>\n<li>Actively engages and respects the contributions of others, in face to face or virtual meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Seeks self-development and coaches others to help aid development.<\/li>\n<li>Builds networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Looks for ways to do things better, faster, more efficiently according to LEAN principles.<\/li>\n<li>Focuses effort and prioritizes work to deliver business value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Contract period: 09.03.2026 (after agreement)-31.03.2027<\/p>\n<p>Work location: Stord - 15\/20 rotation.
