{"id":22588,"date":"2026-05-01T09:12:26","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T07:12:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/umbilical-lead-3004638\/"},"modified":"2026-05-01T09:12:26","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T07:12:26","slug":"umbilical-lead-3004638","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/umbilical-lead-3004638\/","title":{"rendered":"Umbilical Lead"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Umbilical Lead<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<p>We ae currently looking for an Umbilical Lead consultant for a role in project development and project follow-up.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Role and Responsibilites<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The Subsea Umbilical and Cable lead shall deliver according to phase DG0-DG4 and business needs<\/li>\n<li>Prepare documentations according to the relevant DG phase within Subsea Umbilical and Cable scope and ensure compliance with applicable rules, standards and regulations&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>For early phase projects, responsible for scoping and following up studies within Subsea Umbilical and Cable scope and maturation of Subsea Umbilical and Cable design and deliveries as required per project phase<\/li>\n<li>Participate in concept workgroups and document recommendations and decisions as required.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Responsible to perform or establishing and following up studies within Subsea Umbilical and Cable discipline and maturation of design and deliveries as required per project phase<\/li>\n<li>Within own scope, drive continuous improvement, secure safety in design, design-to-cost and constructability&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Perform \/ contribute to concept evaluations and provide input to Design Basis updates.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Provide evaluations, reports and presentations as required towards key project milestones and Decision Gates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc \/ MSc within engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or equivalent).
