{"id":22789,"date":"2026-06-17T10:12:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T08:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-commissioning-engineer-sas-3004663\/"},"modified":"2026-06-17T10:12:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T08:12:11","slug":"senior-commissioning-engineer-sas-3004663","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/senior-commissioning-engineer-sas-3004663\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Commissioning Engineer SAS"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Senior Commissioning Engineer SAS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Nes Fircroft (AkerBP)<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<h3><strong>Main tasks:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning&#039;s requirements of all Company&#039;s projects are carried out safely, and ensure they meet all Company&#039;s project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for implementing the commissioning certification and handover process according to the Project Completion Strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning SAS &amp; ICT Team and ensure that an important level of focus is maintained on health, safety and the environment to achieve expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensuring sufficient manning according to project needs.<\/li>\n<li>When required act as the site Commissioning Authority during the commissioning phases<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimate associated with the commissioning scope for all relevant SAS Systems<\/li>\n<li>Contribute and advice related to SAS input to overall Completion strategy and planning.<\/li>\n<li>Manage contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials Software or equipment for SAS.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning Team, coordinating the appropriate Commissioning discipline resources with the skills to:<\/li>\n<li>Witness contractor\/supplier tests as necessary (FAT\/SAT).<\/li>\n<li>Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Implement the commissioning scope.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.<\/li>\n<li>As required; set up and co-ordinate commissioning reviews, covering all disciplines, to meet the Company&#039;s expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>1:1 conversation within team members on a regular basis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc.
