{"id":22817,"date":"2026-05-03T23:12:42","date_gmt":"2026-05-03T21:12:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/mechanical-completion-manager-3004672\/"},"modified":"2026-05-03T23:12:42","modified_gmt":"2026-05-03T21:12:42","slug":"mechanical-completion-manager-3004672","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/mechanical-completion-manager-3004672\/","title":{"rendered":"Mechanical Completion Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Mechanical Completion Manager<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<p>We are currently looking for a Mechanical Completion Manager consultant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Roles and responsibilities\u00a0<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all work performed in construction is made in full compliance with Company safety regulations\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Follow up manning of the project Mechanical Completion (MC) Group with necessary recourses\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Planning of MC activities in the project\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Lead and coordinate Handovers\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensure preparation MC manual or guideline is established and integrated in the project\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Agreed upcoming activities such as inspections, testing and punch-out. And follow up that the MC verification matrix is developed\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Follow up defined MC packages\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensure defining of MC and Preservation Scope for Suppliers and Contractor within Commissioning boundaries\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Control, coordinate and update of ProCoSys status\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Follow up of MC activities at suppliers and onshore\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensure checking all MCCR&#039;s and MCC&#039;s returned from Suppliers and Contractor including Punch Lists\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and coordinate all Company Provided Item (CPI) deliveries emphasize on Site Needed Date (SND) and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Multidiscipline MC coordinator with focus on Schedule and Hand over (HO). Secure a common understanding for system-based progress for all Commission Pack (CP) towards all disciplines.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Monitor work progress against plans and highlight areas of concern and possible corrective actions\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and manage Company Provided Item (CPI) receiving and installation.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Support and follow up Contractor on Site Needed Date (SND) and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the construction team and follow up construction related issues to secure Handovers as scheduled\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Actively work with Contractor to ensure that mechanical completion is achieved with a minimum of punch listed items and ready for handover to Commissioning\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Participate in area\/system punch out as required and ensure Contractors correct input to ProCoSys\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Follow up and verify Contractor&#039;s closing of punch items as required\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Required Competence<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Preferably Master&#039;s or bachelor&#039;s in engineering multi discipline or multi discipline with extensive experience in Construction or Commissioning\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>5\u201310 years of experience in Construction or Commissioning\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Preferably previous experience from Company projects\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Construction and Commissioning work processes, procedures, and tools\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Contract period: 04.05.2026 (after agreement)-30.12.2027<\/p>\n<p>Work location: Hammerfest. Five days at Hammerfest\/Melk\u00f8ya with weekends off.
