{"id":22830,"date":"2026-05-01T05:12:44","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T03:12:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/commissioning-system-lead-process-3004685\/"},"modified":"2026-05-01T05:12:44","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T03:12:44","slug":"commissioning-system-lead-process-3004685","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/commissioning-system-lead-process-3004685\/","title":{"rendered":"Commissioning System Lead Process"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Commissioning System Lead Process<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<p>We are currently looking for a Commissioning System Lead Process consultant.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Main tasks:<\/h3>\n<p>Overall Process System Responsibility, providing supervision, direction, and guidance with regards to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimate associated with the commissioning scope for all Process Systems<\/li>\n<li>Contribute and advice related to Process input to overall Completion strategy and planning<\/li>\n<li>Manage contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for Process Systems Commissioning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning Team, coordinating the appropriate Commissioning discipline resources with the skills to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Witness contractor\/supplier tests as necessary (FAT\/SAT).<\/li>\n<li>Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Implement the commissioning scope.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.<\/li>\n<li>As required; set up and co-ordinate commissioning reviews, covering all disciplines, to meet Company\u2019s expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Establish completions and handover strategy and documentation early in all projects to support efficient commissioning and handover to operations at the end of the project.<\/li>\n<li>This position is fully mobile with base location onshore at Stord then offshore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education \/ experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience from Offshore operations is of great benefit.<\/li>\n<li>Track record of engineering competence and delivery in the Oil &amp; Gas industry and able to demonstrate effective project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to engage and lead a team of professionals<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with planning tools, works management systems and document management systems<\/li>\n<li>Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers &amp; technicians.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimal direction.<\/li>\n<li>Actively seeks out expertise and best practice, related to own area of contribution.<\/li>\n<li>Anticipates future situations and plans to meet them.<\/li>\n<li>Bias for action \u2013 does things before being asked to or forced to by events.<\/li>\n<li>Willingly takes the lead when challenges occur.<\/li>\n<li>Actively promotes open and effective communication.<\/li>\n<li>Strong planning and organising ability.<\/li>\n<li>Actively promotes a positive team environment, demonstrating shared commitment to the success of the team and the wider project organization.<\/li>\n<li>Actively engages and respects the contributions of others, in face to face or virtual meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Seeks to develop self and coaches others to help their development.<\/li>\n<li>Builds networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Looks for ways to do things better, faster, more efficiently according to LEAN principles.<\/li>\n<li>Focuses effort and prioritizes work to deliver business value.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).<\/li>\n<li>Use SAFER as an inspiration \/ follower in daily work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Work location: This position is fully mobile with base location onshore at Stord then offshore.<\/p>\n<p>Contract period: 08.06.2026 &#8211;
