{"id":22832,"date":"2026-05-01T05:12:46","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T03:12:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/completion-eit-commissioning-engineer-3004687\/"},"modified":"2026-05-01T05:12:46","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T03:12:46","slug":"completion-eit-commissioning-engineer-3004687","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/completion-eit-commissioning-engineer-3004687\/","title":{"rendered":"Completion &#8211; EIT Commissioning Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='vacancy-detail'>\n<div class='bold'>Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class='bold'>Completion &#8211; EIT Commissioning Engineer<\/div>\n<div class='vacancy-body'>\n<h3><strong>Main tasks:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall, EI&amp;T System Responsibility, providing supervision, direction, and guidance with regards to:<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimate associated with the commissioning scope for all EI&amp;T Systems<\/li>\n<li>Contribute and advice related to EI&amp;T input to overall Completion strategy and planning<\/li>\n<li>Manage contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for EI&amp;T Systems Commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning Team, coordinating the appropriate Commissioning discipline resources with the skills to:<\/li>\n<li>Witness contractor\/supplier tests as necessary (FAT\/SAT)<\/li>\n<li>Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Implement the commissioning scope.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.<\/li>\n<li>As required; set up and co-ordinate commissioning reviews, covering all disciplines, to meet Company\u2019s expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Establish completions and handover strategy and documentation early in all projects to support efficient commissioning and handover to operations at the end of the project.<\/li>\n<li>This position is fully mobile with base location onshore at Stord then offshore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education \/ experience.<\/li>\n<li>Track record of engineering competence and delivery in the Oil &amp; Gas industry and able to demonstrate effective project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to engage and lead a team of professionals<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with planning tools, works management systems and document management systems<\/li>\n<li>Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers &amp; technicians.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimal direction.<\/li>\n<li>Actively seeks out expertise and best practice, related to own area of contribution.<\/li>\n<li>Anticipates future situations and plans to meet them.<\/li>\n<li>Bias for action \u2013 does things before being asked to or forced to by events.<\/li>\n<li>Willingly takes the lead when challenges occur.<\/li>\n<li>Actively promotes open and effective communication.<\/li>\n<li>Strong planning and organizing ability.<\/li>\n<li>Actively promotes a positive team environment, demonstrating shared commitment to the success of the team and the wider project organization.<\/li>\n<li>Actively engages and respects the contributions of others, in face to face or virtual meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Seeks to develop self and coaches others to help their development.<\/li>\n<li>Builds networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Looks for ways to do things better, faster, more efficiently according to LEAN principles.<\/li>\n<li>Focuses effort and prioritizes work to deliver business value.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).<\/li>\n<li>Use SAFER as an inspiration \/ follower in daily work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Languages<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>English Full professional proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Norwegian Full professional proficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Additional job information<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>The Commissioning System Lead \u2013 EI&amp;T is responsible for providing direction, guidance and supervision during Completion and Commissioning activities related to the delivery and integration of the platform and is considered the overall responsible for all Electrical, Instrument and Telecom Systems. This position is fully mobile with base location onshore at Stord then offshore. Position Purpose \u00b7 Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning requirements of all projects is carried out safely, efficiently by FFA and ensure they meet all  project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance. \u00b7 Responsible for implementing the commissioning certification and handover process according to Project Completion Strategy. \u00b7 Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
