{"id":22909,"date":"2026-06-24T03:12:18","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T01:12:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/work-prep-engineer-3004727\/"},"modified":"2026-06-24T03:12:18","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T01:12:18","slug":"work-prep-engineer-3004727","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/work-prep-engineer-3004727\/","title":{"rendered":"Work Prep Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"vacancy-detail\">\n<div class=\"bold\">Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class=\"bold\">Work Prep Engineer<\/div>\n<div class=\"vacancy-body\">\n<p>We are currently looking for a Work Prep Engineer to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of work orders to support construction, mechanical completion (MC), and commissioning activities.<\/p>\n<p>The role is critical in enabling safe and efficient execution in line with project schedules and Company standards.<\/p>\n<p>The need is related to, but not limited to, the disciplines of piping and insulation.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Main tasks:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Work Order Preparation: Based on information provided in engineering work packs (EWP), the Work Prep Engineer shall develop and maintain detailed work orders in PIMS PES, including, but not limited to, man-hour (MHR) estimates, drawings, procedures, and material lists (MTO).<\/li>\n<li>Interface Management: Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure all prerequisites are met prior to job execution.<\/li>\n<li>Quality &amp; HSSE Compliance: Review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements and project implementation models.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical education (vocational or engineering degree) with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years&#039; experience in the oil &amp; gas industry or a related industry, preferably within construction or commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with MC and commissioning completion processes and digital tools (eg, PIMS CMS\/PIMS PES).<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of drawings (P&amp;IDs, ISO) and the ability to interpret technical documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in Norwegian, with a good command of English, both written and spoken.<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience with PIMS and Work Prep in PIMS.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to create WOs in Norwegian.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Contract period: As soon as possible-31.03.2027<\/p>\n<p>Work location: Stord&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Does this sound like an interesting opportunity for you?
