{"id":24976,"date":"2026-09-22T16:12:28","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T14:12:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/commissioning-engineer-process-utility-3004756\/"},"modified":"2026-09-22T16:12:28","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T14:12:28","slug":"commissioning-engineer-process-utility-3004756","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/commissioning-engineer-process-utility-3004756\/","title":{"rendered":"Commissioning Engineer Process\/Utility"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"vacancy-detail\">\n<div class=\"bold\">Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class=\"bold\">Commissioning Engineer Process\/Utility<\/div>\n<div class=\"vacancy-body\">\n<p>We are currently looking for a Commissioning Engineer Process\/Utility consultant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Main tasks and responsibilities:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Commissioning System Responsible (SRE) or other personnel in the Commissioning team[s] with regards to testing, verification and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>MC follow-up and punch-out of defined packages.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities in accordance with commissioning plans and project requirements, while also meeting all client&#8217;s project and operational requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the safe and efficient handover of relevant systems to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Assistance and performing MC and Commissioning activities as given by Commissioning SRE or others in the Commissioning team.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, set and\/or verify Valve &amp; Blind lists.<\/li>\n<li>Complete CPCRs.<\/li>\n<li>Execution of Commissioning activities assigned by the Comm SRE on dedicated systems.<\/li>\n<li>Verify Construction Field installations are according to design\/ISO\/P&amp;IDs in collaboration with Commissioning SRE or others in MC\/Commissioning team.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in check-out, verification (Walk Down\/Yellow line) according to the RFCC (Ready for Commissioning Certificate) Hand-Over Process.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in meetings for planning Commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>According to good practice, ensure effective communication between operation, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Report to the Commissioning SRE regarding ongoing Commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the collection of documentation related to RFOC (Ready for Operations Certificate) Hand-over according to the System Lead&#8217;s instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Assist related ATS (Agreement for Technical Services) and other resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Skilled worker or a related field or equivalent education\/experience.<\/li>\n<li>Track record of mechanical construction, completion or operational experience and delivery in the Oil &amp; Gas industry.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience from offshore in either operations or maintenance team is of great benefit.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Project Completion Systems PIMS and document management systems.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of reading\/understanding P&amp;IDs and ISOs.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimum direction.<\/li>\n<li>Actively seeks out know-how and best practice, related to own area of contribution.<\/li>\n<li>Anticipates future situations and plans to meet them.<\/li>\n<li>Bias for action &#8211; does things before being asked to or forced to by events.<\/li>\n<li>Willingly takes the lead when challenges occur.<\/li>\n<li>Actively promotes open and effective communication.<\/li>\n<li>Actively promotes a positive team environment, demonstrating shared commitment to the success of the team and the wider project organization.<\/li>\n<li>Actively engages and respects contributions of others, in face to face or virtual meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Seeks to develop self and coaches others to help their development.<\/li>\n<li>Builds networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Looks for ways to do things better, faster, more efficiently according to LEAN principles.<\/li>\n<li>Focuses effort and prioritizes work to deliver business value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Contract period: 01\/10\/2026 &#8211; 01\/07\/2027<\/p>\n<p>Location: Stord (Please note: This position requires flexibility and periods as commuter or rotation at Stord\/offshore to be expected.
