{"id":24983,"date":"2026-09-07T08:12:34","date_gmt":"2026-09-07T06:12:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/telecommunication-engineer-3004758\/"},"modified":"2026-09-07T08:12:34","modified_gmt":"2026-09-07T06:12:34","slug":"telecommunication-engineer-3004758","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/telecommunication-engineer-3004758\/","title":{"rendered":"Telecommunication Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"vacancy-detail\">\n<div class=\"bold\">Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class=\"bold\">Telecommunication Engineer<\/div>\n<div class=\"vacancy-body\">\n<p><strong><em>This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Stord, Norway, start with a normal dayshift then a 2\/3 rotation, and it will be an offshore rotation during hookup and startup.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Main tasks:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.<\/li>\n<li>Provide engineering input.<\/li>\n<li>Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and Interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning, with a high focus on HSSE.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and follow up risks and opportunities related to commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and call off ATS as and when required.<\/li>\n<li>Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services<\/li>\n<li>Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and ensure first fills are available in a timely fashion and perform first fills.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve the Company&#039;s expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on the Commissioning plan.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education \/ experience.<\/li>\n<li>BSc.
