{"id":25041,"date":"2026-10-04T13:12:28","date_gmt":"2026-10-04T11:12:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/completion-engineer-xmt-wellhead-3004780\/"},"modified":"2026-10-04T13:12:28","modified_gmt":"2026-10-04T11:12:28","slug":"completion-engineer-xmt-wellhead-3004780","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/vegaconsultants.no\/en\/jobbsoker\/ledige-stillinger\/completion-engineer-xmt-wellhead-3004780\/","title":{"rendered":"Completion Engineer XMT &amp; Wellhead"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"vacancy-detail\">\n<div class=\"bold\">Vega Consultants AS<\/div>\n<div class=\"bold\">Completion Engineer XMT &amp; Wellhead<\/div>\n<div class=\"vacancy-body\">\n<p>We are currently looking for a Completion Engineer XMT &amp; Wellhead consultant for an offshore role.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Main tasks and responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure participation and presence for topside XMT\/Wellhead\/Downhole Equipment testing and EFAT programs at suppliers<\/li>\n<li>Act as Completion focal point with regards to intervention and D&amp;W related to package\/equipment delivery, scoping, inspection and testing.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure schedule and planning are aligned with the overall project schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance and direction related to Hook-Up and Commissioning SIMOPS in Well Bay area.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure participation and presence at WHCP, HPU and TUTU FAT testing and Site testing.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for planning and execution of Offshore Hook Up and Commissioning of Wellhead and XMTs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Offshore MTO required for seamless XMT Hook Up &amp; Commissioning offshore.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor &amp; Follow Up of mechanical completion and testing of XMT &amp; Wellhead D&amp;W CPIs.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitation in PIMS CMS for client&#039;s CPI dataflow and scoping.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for Offshore HU&amp;C of XMT with respect to planning, procurement, relevant ATS, stakeholder management, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for PIMS PES planning and set-up for Offshore XMT\/Wellhead Hook-Up.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for WHCP and HPU equipment status and follow-up towards site-testing.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimate associated with the commissioning scope to the XMT Hook Up &amp; Commissioning Team to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve Company&#039;s expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensuring sufficient manning according to project needs.<\/li>\n<li>When required, act as the site Commissioning Authority during the commissioning phases.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to ensuring that completions and commissioning requirements of all client&#039;s projects are carried out safely and efficiently by FFA and ensure they meet all client&#039;s project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to implementing the commissioning certification and handover process according to the Project Completion Strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for ensuring the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<p>Overall Responsibility, providing supervision, direction, and guidance with regards to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimates associated with the scope for XMT installation and Commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Manage contractors and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for XMT, WHCP and HPU System Commissioning.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership and direction to the XMT Hook Up &amp; Commissioning Team, coordinating the appropriate Commissioning discipline resources with the skills to:<\/li>\n<li>Witness contractor\/supplier tests as necessary (FAT\/SAT)<\/li>\n<li>Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Implement the commissioning scope.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.<\/li>\n<li>As required; set up and co-ordinate commissioning reviews, covering all disciplines, to meet client&#039;s expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews when necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc.
