Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Buyer to support operational procurement in the categories of temporary staffing and professional services. These categories are mostly comprised of services like market intelligence, market analyses, benchmarking, and due diligence.

Tasks and responsibilities

As a buyer within these categories you will be responsible for global and local tactical and operational procurement activities, including: 

  • Creating purchase orders
  • Establishing call-offs from frame agreements
  • Making due diligence requests. 
  • Leading enquiry processes (strategy, enquiry, evaluation, negotiation, award), 
  • Contract establishment and contract management.

You will be based in Stavanger, working with small, supportive team. 

Competence Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of years of work experience within procurement. Longer experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
  • SAP and Contiki experience is important, as you will be using these on a daily basis. 
  • You are proactive, solution oriented and service minded 
  • You like collaborating to solve challenges, and you communicate well with external suppliers. 
  • Fluent Norwegian and English is required. 

This is a 1-year contract with possibilities for extension, and our client would like the right candidate to start as soon as possible.
