Field Engineer – EIT
2/3 Rotation
Duration: One year with possibilities for extension
Language: Norwegian (or Scandinavian)
Technical Skills:
Hands- on Electrical Engineering professional with expertise in all facets of evaluating electrical systems, products, components and applications.
• Knowledge of and experience with reading layout drawings, loop drawings, termination diagram, P&ID and job card.
• Familiar with NORSOK and other Norwegian Standards.
• Experience with Instrument/electrical activities.
• IECEX/ATEX/Compex, long experience with ATEX equipment can compensate for lack of formal course.
• FSE course high- and low voltage.
• Fall harness course.
Worktasks:
• Participate in the CSS (construction site service) – Field engineer group
• Constant interaction with other members of own discipline and all related to work being executed.
• Follow-up interdisciplinary documentation.
• Delegate to construction team smaller tasks, investigate technical hold codes and lift issues to correct level.
• Follow-up Tec-FE hold’s and Creating construction change requests.
• Coordination between construction and engineering.
Requirements:
• Teknisk Fagskole, BCS /MSC Education
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Norwegian projects
• Experience with Norsok Standard
• IECEX/ATEX/Compex, long experience with ATEX equipment can compensate for lack of formal course.
• FSE course high- and low voltage.
• Fall harness course.
• Norwegian language
• Experience from Brownfeeld projects is a benefit (Commissioning)
Report to:
• Reports to EIT Discipline lead – CSS (construction site service).
NB!
CV`s with less than 3 years’ experience working in Norwegian projects will not be evaluated.
