HR Analyst

On behalf of our client in the oil and gas industry, we are seeking a HR Analyst to provide support and back-office functions. The role will also be responsible for maintaining HR systems.

This is a varied role and includes a wide range of HR responsibilities within system and database management, training, onboarding and recruiting, and general administration:

Systems and databases:

  • Ensure the system accurately reflects current personnel conditions and details
  • Check for updates / contracts expiring etc.
  • Be a superuser and provide appropriate reports from the system as needed
  • Participate in further development of the HCM system

Training and onboarding:

  • Responsibility for keeping portal updated and to follow-up on mandatory internal training
  • Provide training and support to managers and employees (including introduction to new joiners)
  • Follow-through on onboarding and offboarding
  • Assist in recruitment processes (schedule interviews, book rooms etc.)
  • Administering hire of consultants

HR administrative tasks:

  • Process incoming invoices for HR
  • Prepare monthly Corporate HR report
  • Maintain Employee handbook (intranet)
  • Prepare input to surveys (for example salary surveys)
  • Assist with team events
  • Ad-hoc support as needed

Ideally, you will have the following qualifications and previous experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management 
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience from similar role 
  • Good administration skills teamed with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer literate and high degree of ability on Microsoft Office products 
  • Strong team player
  • Good communication skills in English and Norwegian
