On behalf of our client in the oil and gas sector, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist to assist in the IT procurement Category. 

As Procurement Specialist within IT Procurement, you will be responsible for contract establishment and contract management within corporate software, corporate infrastructure and hardware or within business specific software. You will align and coordinate involvement from other relevant departments and negotiate terms with suppliers. 

Description of task and responsibilities 

  • You will be responsible for establishing and managing agreements in your category, and you will take on strategic procurement tasks, such as: 
  • Lead enquiry processes (strategy, enquiry, evaluation, negotiation) 
  • Implement and operationalize new agreements 
  • Manage framework agreements, project specific contracts and call offs 
  • Shape the future global contract portfolio through segment strategies together with business line and suppliers 
  • Identify business cases and drive change in contract relationship to maximize value for company 
  • Ensure contract compliance, identify, and manage risks
  • Stakeholder management
  • Contribute to correct and optimal use of agreements in collaboration with Company Representative, including supporting the business line 

Competence Requirements 

  • Relevant Bachelor/Master’s degree or equivalent, experience can compensate for lack of education. 
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience with contract management/IT procurement in large organisations
  • Good knowledge of Norwegian contract law
  • Experience with SAP, Contiki, SAP Ariba is a great advantage.

This is a 1-year contract with possibilities for extension, and our client would like the successful candidate to start the beginning of August.
