Senior Electrical Heat Trace Design Engineer

Arbeidsoppgaver

Calculation, selection and follow up of heat trace cable, junction boxes and thermostats design

Follow-up and design heat trace requirement according to P&ID’s. ISO and project solutions

Follow up with vendor for the procurement and review and approval of documents.

Handling of technical questions from inspection and installation teams

Input, update and maintain heat trace engineering register information

Update, maintain and modify engineering documentation of the heat trace scope of work

Preparation of the heat trace MTO’S

Taking the responsibility of the LCI and asset design of the tags of the heat trace scope

Preparation of the engineering work packs of the heat trace scope

Participate in meetings between fabrication and engineering

Interface and coordination with other disciplines

Must have experience of knowledge NORSOK E-001, NORSOK S-001, IEC 61892, and IEC 60079.

Providing the electrical input (electrical motors, heaters, VFD, junction box, heat trace, electrical cables) and follow up of mechanical and instrument packages for topside process-based equipment’s.

Teknisk fagskole, bcs / msc education

Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Norwegian projects – CV’s with less than 5 years’ experience working in Norwegian projects will not be evaluated.

Experience with NORSOK and IEC standard

Experience with Electrical Engineering, for Oil and Gas industry and North Sea, FPSO experience will be advantageous.
