Procurement specialist

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist for renewable projects in oil and gas. Here you will work with operational procurement from A-Z, including: 

Work tasks

• Implement and operationalize new agreements.
• Creation of POs and follow-up on them.
• Reporting to the purchasing manager in case of deviations, changes or delays.  
• Manage framework agreements, project-specific contracts and call-offs. 
• Evaluate offers from suppliers with a focus on project needs, cost and value creation.
• Work actively to improve purchasing and contracting within your segment.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, identify and manage risks.

Desired qualifications

• Previous experience with purchasing within the energy sector is a requirement, including at least 5 years. 
• Experience from construction projects and purchasing materials for these is advantageous. 
• Good knowledge of contract management and regulations in accordance with these. 
• Experience with SAP and Contiki, as you will use these extensively in your work. 
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, written and spoken. 

This is a 1-year assignment, with the possibility of an extension of up to 2 years. The position can be worked from Stavanger, Bergen or Oslo, and our client wants to start as soon as possible.
