Introduction
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a System Project Engineer specialised in building and maintaining project management systems for large projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for Pims CMS setup for a larger project or an asset (covering several projects). You will also be responsible for maintaning an overview of the interfaces towards contractor’s systems, Pims Modules, and other systems.
You will ensure consistent use of the Pims CMS according to governing documents, and support personnel with knowledge and training in the relevant project(s).
You will own the access control function on a project or asset level, but may delegate access to the Completion Data System Coordinator as necessary.
Main responsibilities and deliverables
- Configuration and setup of completion systems according to governing documentation. (Including CMS, WO, WPR, ATS, Queries, LUN, and SAS Change log).
- Facilitate completion systems and processes forum within the project and raise improvement proposals and issues.
- Participate in the review of project completion documents within the assigned project.
- Assign job tasks and follow up completion systems coordinators within the Asset/Project.
- Prepare and update user manuals, quick guides and training presentations within project completion systems and processes.
- Liaise with the project and the basis completion organisation, and be responsible for communicating all changes in completion systems and processes, using MOC when required.
- Assist with handover and handover meetings.
- Set up weekly and monthly reports for completion systems.
Desired experience and qualifications
- Previous experience with interface management/coordination is a requirement, and experience from the oil and gas industry is advantageous.
- Interface management experience must be from large projects.
- Strong competencies in PIMS software.
- You are good at stakeholder management, and can easily communicate with a range of team members, colleagues, and third-parties.
This is a long contract, lasting until mid-2027, and our client would like the right candidate to start as soon as possible.
The position is based in Oslo.
