Technical Safety Engineer

Tasks

• Ensure delivery of documentation in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.
• Multidiscipline collaboration internally and with client.
• The position reports to Technical Safety Lead in the project lead in the project.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education (MSc and BSc degree)
• Minimum 10 years’ experience within Technical Safety.
• Knowledge or relevant engineering standards
• Excellent cooperation and teamwork skills
• Proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Strong ability to inform and persuade on complex matters through preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and reports.

The candidate should have a strong background in discipline work and have special competence in one or more of the areas listed below:

• ALARP evaluations
• ALARP Cost Benefit Analysis
• Inherent Safety Design
• Workshop chairman for ALARP and Inherent Safety Design Review
• Prepare reviews, such as preparation of Term of Reference.
• Safety Barrier Management
• Design Performance Standards
