Mechanical Engineer/PRE

Technical Skills: 

• Mechanical Engineering professional with expertise in equipment designing, specification and requisitioning of equipment and packages
• Familiar with ASME BPV, API, European Standards (EN), TEMA Standards, NORSOK, ISO, Norwegian (NORSOK) and Danish standards 
• Topside Static and rotating equipment design calculations and analysis  
• Package specification and requisitioning experience 
• Previous study / FEED unmanned platform experience considered advantageous

Work tasks:

• Prepare and issue technical requisitions and data sheets
• Input to plan, prepare schedule input for package deliverable for supplier
• Documentation follow up, review / implement comments and approve 

Requirements:

• Education: Master of Engineering Degree / Bachelor of Engineering degree / Technical College
• Minimum 8 years / 10 years / 15 years of relevant experience, respectively 
• Software experience preferred: IFS, PV Elite (or equivalent vessel analysis software), HTRI (or equivalent heat exchanger analysis software)

Duration: 

• 6 months with possible extension after

Language:

• English – Required
• Norwegian (or Scandinavian) – Preferred
