Area of responsibility:
Civil (groundwork, concrete and construction engineering work)
Main tasks:
- Responsibility for planning and implementation of projects (construction and installation)
- Responsibility for ensuring that the project produces the desired result and that the result is delivered within agreed framework conditions.
- delegation of tasks within your own team
- motivate and guide your team
- find solutions and make decisions based on the framework conditions and the goal of the project
- responsibility for weekly reporting, monthly reporting, meeting minutes and reports
- Participate and be responsible for construction meetings/weekly meetings, monthly meetings, contract meetings and other relevant meetings.
- Change control.
Desired qualifications
- Engineer or civil engineer, possibly documented experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience from similar projects
- Self-starter with a strong delivery focus, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, manage processes and be proactive
- Is positive, service-oriented and quality-conscious
- Strong and effective communication skills. Willing to receive/give constructive feedback
- Flexible and adaptable in handling changing priorities and new tasks
- Open-minded team player with the ability to influence, share knowledge and manage interfaces with a wide range of teams/disciplines/strategic partners
- Ability to drive continuous improvement using Lean methodology
- Able to work in a deadline-driven environment and can handle many activities simultaneously.
