Senior Piping Stress Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Engineer within Pipestress for one of our customers in Bergen.

Job duties: 

• Study work and design tasks
• Offshore inspection
• Preparation of technical requests for mechanical equipment
• Supplier and supplier documentation follow-up
• Meeting activities and input to reports

Education:

• Bachelor Degree / Vocational School 
• Preferably a professional certificate in addition

Experience requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas
• Experience from maintenance and modification work
• Good knowledge of mechanical equipment
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as PTIL, NORSOK and ISO standards

Other: 

• Fluent Norwegian and English – spoken and written is desirable
• Ability to work both independently and in groups
• Multidisciplinary understanding and good collaboration skills
• Proactive, seeking out others for advice and being able to share your own experience
• Good interpersonal skills, contribute to creating a good professional environment

Must also have:

• Basic Offshore Safety Course and Medical Certificate
