Digital Project Manager

• Title: Digital Project Manager – SCM
• Location: Stavanger or Oslo
• Duration: 6 months

Introduction

Our client has a clear ambition to transform the way they do procurement and purchasing, the work processes that drive this, and the ecosystem of applications, platforms, and data that flows between them. They are now looking for a Project Manager to work on digitalization in Supply Chain. 

The candidate will participate in activities and improvement work related to digitalization in Supply Chain. You will be part of a team that collaborates to solve improvements with ongoing deliveries. Important applications to support Supply Chain processes and digital transformation include SAP, SAP Fiori and Ivalua.

We are looking for a candidate who has good knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics in the oil and gas industry, associated processes, an above-average digital interest, and the ability to drive projects at the intersection of disciplines and the technical development environment.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Identify, define and document business processes and requirements
• Ensure efficient handling of changes, solution development, testing and implementation thereof
• User support and change management, including training when needed and updating user documentation
• Support across the application portfolio in relevant topics
• Contribute to and understand how data flows to and from SAP, Ivalua and other core applications
• Assist in developing strategy and goals for SCM transformation

Qualifications

• College/university, relevant work experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• Experience with purchasing processes, preferably within the oil industry
• Good digital understanding and knowledge
• Knowledge of ERP systems, master data and concepts around IT architecture
• Experience with project management
• Experience with change processes and change management
• Seeking, responsible, predictable, committed and respectful
• Structured and systematic
• Proactive and solution-oriented
• Good at communication and stakeholder management«
• Delivery-oriented and self-driven, but also a good team player
• Proficient in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

This is a 6 month assignment, and our client wants to start soon. The assignment can be worked from Stavanger or Oslo.
