Automation Engineer

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer for a long-term contract. 

Job Responsibilities

• Work with Company work processes and databases handlers.
• Work with systems (STID-Loop/Tag/Doc, PIMS, Procosys, SAP-PM06/10, ECP, access@plant etc)
• Development of design and safety critical documentation typically for SCDs, Cause and Effects, context and hiding diagrams, functional specifications, IO-lists etc.
• Maintain client and supplier communication
• Work with projects in different phases including Study phase

Required qualifications

• Relevant higher education (Bachelor or Masters)
• Experience with offshore and/or onshore installations on the NCS is required. 
• Knowledge of common variants of communication protocols and communication layers for typically OPC, Modbus (RTU and TCP), profibus etc.
• Knowledge of Architecture and features in Safety Instrumented System from major suppliers.
• Good communication skills in English and Norwegian
• FSE high and low voltage including first aid
• EX basic course
• Offshore course and health certificate are required. Candidate must be willing to take said course if not already taken when necessary. 
• Candidate must be eligible for work in Norway. 

This is a 2-year contract based in Stavanger, and our client would like the candidate to start in the New Year.
