Senior Electrical Engineer

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to assist in a modification and maintenance project. This is a 2-year contract lasting until end of 2026, based in Stavanger. 

Job Responsibilities

• Produce new documentation and drawings such as Heat Trace layouts, Light and small power layouts, etc.
• Revise existing documentation and drawings 
• Produce work package for installation
• Produce calculations, short circuit, heat trace and lighting.
• Order electrical materials needed for installation.
• Estimation of SOW

Required qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, or Technology degree with related Trade Certificates
• 5-7 years relevant experience within offshore-related projects on The Norwegian Continental shelf. Experience within modification projects is advantageous. 
• EX and FSE (HV & LV) courses valid throughout assignment. 
• Must be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines. 
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as PTIL, ATEX, IEC61892 and NORSOK.
• Experience in several process & utility systems, incl. Main Power, Emergency Power and UPS supported systems
• Knowledge of using hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical systems as power sources in safety systems.
• Experience with PM systems, e.g., Febdok, Pims, ProArc, STID, ProCoSys, Heat Trace calculation, Tag-systems and Microstation, is preferred.
• Fluent Norwegian is a requirement for this role.
