Senior Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large oil & gas FEED project consisting of new platform design, brownfield modification work and interface to several contractual interfaces. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems, working with the SAS system design.  

Job Responsibilities:

• System Design, interface and follow up of Safety and Automation System (SAS) at FEED detail level
• Ensure implementation of Global SAS system design through modification work, new system design and contractual interfaces
• Technical responsible (PRE) for SAS package.
• Coordination and follow-up SAS package technical deliveries, documentation, plans and solutions 
• Review of SAS technical package documentation.
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers 
• Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and clients 
• Offshore survey may be required

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Required Work Experience:
• Minimum 12 years' experience from automation engineering in green field projects  
• Minimum 8 years' experience from automation and SAS system design, incl SAS/automation package follow-up 
• Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team 
• Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements

• FSE course, valid through the engagement
• Ex-course, valid through the engagement
