Maritime Traffic Manager

We are now looking for a Maritime Traffic Manager consultant for an exciting role at an operator on the Norwegian continental shelf. 

About the role

• Work as a maritime traffic manager/logistics coordinator in the Operations Center of the Logistics and Emergency Response Organization, which is responsible for delivering 2nd line emergency response, ocean surveillance and logistics services for the entire Norwegian continental shelf:
• Perform maritime traffic monitoring of the Company and other operating companies, with which an agreement has been entered into, of the safety zones of installations on the Norwegian continental shelf 
• Perform operational management of emergency vessels and supply vessels, including resource coordination and optimization 
• Plan, develop and improve logistics services within vessels and supply 
• The position involves land-based shift work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in nautical science with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably with deck officer status at 2nd class and the possibility of being able to relieve at 1st class, or other relevant education. 
• Good collaboration and communication skills, and ability to work in a structured and efficient manner 
• Ability to handle operational challenges in an operational environment

Contract duration: 01.06.2025-30.12.2025, possibility of extension
