Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to assist with daily operations and order fulfillment. This is a 5-6 month assignment based in Stavanger, with possibilities for extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchasing and supply chain related product and project coordination:
  • Coordinate the receipt of client products, checking firmware and software versions. Updating products and labeling to confirm revisions.
  • Maintain database of product revisions, working with R&D to confirm the currently released versions are deployed.
  • Checking and updating 3rd party hardware with the latest firmware version prior to goods being shipped to site.
  • Coordinate activities for projects across Europe for the supply team members based in Norway, including placing orders, booking shipments.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure they are informed about changes and status of firmware for deliveries and shipping schedules.
  • Coordinate with the global supply chain team 
  • Follow up with suppliers and partners on processes, pricing, and deployment models
  • Actively update manufacturers' pricing on the MS Dynamics 365 ERP system to ensure pricing is current and accurate.
  • Monitor inventory levels for warehouse location, coordinate replenishments
  • Reporting inventory levels monthly, conducting cycle counts and end of quarter stock valuations.

Required qualifications and qualities

  • Bachelor's degree or trade certificate in Supply Chain Management, logistics, economics and administration or similar. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
  • 1-2 years' experience with similar tasks is beneficial. 
  • Experience working with ERP systems - Microsoft Dynamics would be an advantage.
  • Experience with, or understanding of, the Audio-Visual or IT Industry would be valued.
  • Ability to exercise creative thinking to advance business performance
  • Technical interest and understanding – willingness to learn new skills.
  • Detail oriented and organised, good customer service skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
