Supply Manager SCM Pre-Ops (SCR)
The overall purpose of the position:
- In interaction with the rest of the OST, the SCR shall support the entire activity set of the asset.
- SCR is part of the Asset Maintenance Manager's team, but works closely with both Production, Engineering and Maintenance.
- SCR shall ensure systems, processes and contracts that ensure the right product/service, at the right time and at the right cost from the time the need arises until payment is made with the lowest possible inventory.
- SCR will help set the direction for improvements and management of risk in the supply chain according to our client's Business Management System and cultural framework.
- Link between Asset on and offshore, supply base and suppliers
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Adhere to our client's values, overall strategy and management system
- Ensure that we work in accordance with Supply Chain Management Processes & secure interfaces with Logistics, operations and maintenance processes – End to End
- Responsible for daily operations of operational purchasing and warehouse function
- Contribute to the optimization and operationalization of contracts
- Contribute to the optimization of logistics activities
- Ensure collaboration and sharing of best practices within their domain across assets
- Support the organization in system functionality and actively drive standardization of work processes
- Participate in asset planning as needed
Education:
- Higher relevant education in Economics & Administration, Logistics, Engineering or other relevant fields.
