Senior Automation Engineer

Main Tasks:

• As Senior Instrument Engineer, you will support and plan activities in order to provide safe, in-control and efficient management of field equipment and systems within domain.
• You will need to demonstrate strong commitment to the HSSE, integrity and automation standards when carrying out the responsibilities, delivering safe, efficient and reliable operations within the framework of the management system.
• Support client's common strategies to ensure continuous improvement, standardization and efficiency across all offshore assets.
• Responsible for planning and execution of modifications.
• Technical support resolving direct and short-term actions
• Ensure technical integrity criteria are met and maintained for related performance standards.
• Ensure close cooperation with critical suppliers and contractors.

Qualifications:

• Master of Science or similar in Automation, preferably with specialization in Control systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience with design and operation of offshore facilities and systems, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
• Experience and understanding related to all relevant discipline standards and guidelines
• Systematic, structured and reliable in the performance of daily tasks.
• Dedication and a personal drive for continuous improvement
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English
