We are many committed colleagues in several countries who deliver oil, gas, wind and solar energy to more than 170 million people worldwide every day. Right now, we are facing a big and challenging task: To supply the world with the necessary energy while reducing emissions. As an operational purchaser: In connection with parental leave and other temporary resource needs, we want to get in touch with you who have good knowledge of purchasing, are motivated, customer and service oriented and have a commercial mindset. You will be part of a team of purchasers who are responsible for the company's purchasing activities related to the purchase and follow-up of materials and services for the company's operations across segments, categories and purchasing groups.
The main deliverables will be:
- Create and follow up on purchase orders
- Maintain safety, security and sustainability in procurement.
- Plan the request based on business needs and a commercial mindset.
- Search the market and select providers.
- Create and send request.
- Evaluate bids and conduct negotiations.
- Create and send purchase orders.
- Get order confirmation.
- Follow up on purchase orders:
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Manage changes and/or deviations throughout the Plan to Pay process. Other responsibilities:
- Maintain market knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with Supply Chain processes and requirements.
- Understand the flow of materials and services through the supply chain from plan to payment.
- Ensure professional services and communication towards both internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Knowledge of relevant category strategies.
- Be an active contributor to continuous improvement and take an active role in delivering on our goals such as increased efficiency, digitalization, robot utilization and seeking new ways of working.

For this position we are also looking for the following:
- You have knowledge of and preferably experience in Supply chain management and purchasing.
- 2-3 years of work experience after graduation.
- A true team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, collaborating with business lines, suppliers and colleagues.
- You are curious, structured and have a commercial mindset and who take pride in delivering cost-effective, high-quality services to our internal customers.
- MS-Office competence, SAP competence, and competence in other relevant digital tools.
- College/university education at bachelor's level.
