Commissioning Engineer Process/Utility

We are currently looking for a Commissioning Engineer Process/Utility consultant. 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Assist the Commissioning System Responsible (SRE) or other personnel in the Commissioning team[s] with regards to testing, verification and documentation.
• MC follow-up and punch-out of defined packages.
• Contribute to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities in accordance with commissioning plans and project requirements, while also meeting all client's project and operational requirements.
• Contribute to the safe and efficient handover of relevant systems to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
• Assistance and performing MC and Commissioning activities as given by Commissioning SRE or others in the Commissioning team:
• Prepare, set and/or verify Valve & Blind lists
• Complete CPCRs.
• Execution of Commissioning activities assigned by the Comm SRE on dedicated systems
• Verify Construction Field installations are according to design/ISO/P&IDs in collaboration with Commissioning SRE or others in MC/Commissioning team
• Participate in check-out, verification (Walk Down/Yellow line) according to the RFCC (Ready for Commissioning Certificate) Hand-Over Process
• Participate in meetings for planning Commissioning activities.
• According to good Alliance practice, ensure effective communication between operation, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers
• Reporting to the Commissioning SRE regarding ongoing Commissioning activities
• Assist with the collection of documentation related to RFOC (Ready for Operations Certificate) Hand-over according to the System Lead's instructions
• Assist related ATS (Agreement for Technical Services) and other resources.

Qualifications:

• Skilled worker or a related field or equivalent education / experience
• Track record of mechanical construction, completion or operational experience and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience from offshore in either operations or maintenance team is of great benefit
• Familiarity with Project Completion Systems; PIMS and document management systems
• Knowledge of reading/understanding P&IDs and ISOs.
• Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimal direction.

Contract period: 01/10/2026 – 01/07/2027

Location: Stord (Please note: This position requires flexibility and periods as commuter or rotation at Stord/offshore to be expected. Possible night shift.)
