Main tasks:
- Follow-up of procurement packages
- Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation
- Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions
- Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering
- Perform commercial evaluations of quotations
- Issue purchase orders
- Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality
- Manage variation handling
- Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing
- Ensure all activities comply with Company’s guidelines, work instructions, and procedures
- Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree. Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar
- Minimum3 years’ experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas
- Fluency in Norwegian – both written and oral
- You are commercially aware
- You are professional and an independent team player
- You have strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English
- You are flexible and willing to adapt to changes
- You engage positively with others and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration skills
- You work in a structured and efficient manner, always in accordance with applicable guidelines
- Experience with SAP is an advantage
- A high degree of data discipline is preferred
