- Title: Contract Lead IT

Introduction
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional within procurement and contracts to lead contract work in the IT categories.
As Contract Lead within IT Procurement you will be responsible for contract establishment and contract management. You will align and coordinate involvement from other relevant departments (e.g., technical, legal, SSU, stakeholders etc.) and negotiate terms with suppliers. You will hold the mandate to legally commit the client to suppliers.
Main tasks
You will take on strategic procurement responsibilities and challenging tasks, through:
LEAD CONTRACT ESTABLISHMENT
- Lead enquiry processes (strategy, enquiry, evaluation, negotiation)
- Implement and operationalize new agreements
- Framework agreements, project specific contracts and call offs
MANAGE AGREEMENT
- Shape the future global contract portfolio through segment strategies together with business line and suppliers
- Identify business cases and drive change in contract relationship to maximize value for company
- Ensure contract compliance, identify, and manage risk (SSU, commercial, financial, local requirements)
- Stakeholder management in relevant business line together with company representative and contract owner.
- Contribute to correct and optimal use of agreements in collaboration with Company Representative, including supporting the business line.
Competency requirements
- You are a seasoned contract manager with experience in entering and managing contracts and negotiating with third parties.
- Ideally, you have an educational background within law, business or economics, but relevant experience can make up for this.
- You must have experience with contract management in the Norwegian oil and gas sector.
- You have a good understanding of Norwegian contract law.
- Fluent Norwegian and English is a requirement.
- You have experience using SAP, Ariba and Contiki.
This is a 1-year contract, with possibilities for another years’ extension, and our client would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
