Drilling and Wells Technical Data Specialist

We are currently looking for a Drilling and Wells Technical Data Specialist consultant. 

Main tasks:

• Hands-on understanding of drilling operations, rig processes, and well construction.
• Ability to interpret and validate real-time and historical drilling data.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to data quality, lifecycle management, and documentation.
• Comfortable collaborating with drilling engineers, real-time operations, service companies, and digital teams.
• Able to challenge data anomalies, identify root causes, and communicate findings clearly.
• Passion for continuous improvement and ensuring that data supports safer, more efficient wells.

Qualifications:

• A skilled Technical Data Specialist with a solid drilling background, ideally with experience from offshore operations or a Real-Time/operations center.
• This person understands the full drilling workflow—from planning to execution—and translates operational knowledge into high‑quality data practices.
• They have a strong eye for data quality, understand how drilling data is generated, used, and validated, and can quickly spot irregularities or inconsistencies.
• The candidate should be able to connect domain expertise with data management disciplines, ensuring that data is accurate, accessible, and valuable for decision-making.

Contract period: 16.03.2026(after agreement) – 31.03.2027
